Zoe Saldana, born June 19, 1978, was the daughter of Asalia Nazario as well as Aridio Saldana. Her father is Dominican while her mother was Puerto Rican. Co-stars have acknowledged her for her amazing talent, her intense concentration and determination, her ability to work in challenging roles, involving the characters and subjects that are diverse, as well her determination.
