Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. Her childhood was filled with big dreams. Her greatest roles are the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the thriller Precious. Growing up in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of goals. Her parents were a loving mother, who was a fan of movies. Paula participated in co-curricular programs at her school, and was a drama enthusiast. She was a huge fan of acting with her classmates and took part in her school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the setting for many school plays. She made the decision to train as an actor. Through a program for summer offered by the University of Southern California, she was awe-inspiring there. She received a 3-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. Once she had completed the task with success, she began being an assistant in TV documentary production. She then moved to produce documentaries. She loved her work but was determined to become an actor. She began her acting career with a small character on the movie romantic comedy Hitch with Will Smith. Since then, she's appeared in numerous film and television series.
